BRUNO DE LA CONCIERGERIE 123 SOLEIL, who welcomed you, can answer any questions you may have about using the house. In the event of a breakdown or any other incident, please contact him or us at villacaprev@gmail.com. We’ll arrange for the repairman or craftsman to come to you.

Please don’t try to repair it yourself. His telephone number is 06 11 73 86 02.

For your convenience, beds will be made up on arrival and clean linen provided. You are responsible for keeping the premises in a clean and tidy condition.

Access

Bruno from Conciergerie 123 Soleil will give you 2 (two) keys to the house.

On your departure, if you have to leave before Bruno de la Conciergerie 123 Soleil has arrived, please leave the 2 house keys in a place agreed with him.

Electrical appliances

Instructions for use of all electrical appliances are available in a cupboard under the kitchen island facing the bay window.

Most of them are easy to use. If in doubt, consult the instructions.

As soon as the indicator lights come on, make sure you stock the dishwasher with salt and rinse aid.

Television and Internet

The television in the living room works with Orange HDMI 3 on the remote control.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

Security

Burglaries are common in the region. The house is insured, but any personal belongings you may leave behind are not covered. So be sure to lock the front door and all picture windows with the security latch, and close all ground-floor windows (cellar, WC, checkroom, blue room) when you’re away.

Also be vigilant if everyone is at the back of the house around the pool. Don’t leave valuables in plain sight.

For your peace of mind and the safety of your valuables, we have provided 2 safe deposit boxes in the closets of the upstairs master suites. Please return the keys to the safe. In the event of loss, you will be charged 75 euros per key.

Air conditioning/heating

The villa is equipped with a heat pump-cooler.

To limit electricity consumption, please set the heating on the units to a temperature :

Between 20° and 22° in winter in occupied rooms.

Between 21° and 24° in summer in occupied rooms.

Please keep doors and windows closed during use.

The boiler is equipped with a consumption alert set for normal, responsible use. In the event of excessive use, the excess consumption will be billed in full on departure.

Linen


Please put your used sheets and towels at the end of the bed when you leave or in the basket provided in the laundry room.

Bruno at Conciergerie 123 Soleil will offer you a personalized linen change service on your arrival, with rates and renewal terms.

The towels provided are for bathroom use only and must not be used in the swimming pool.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Fireplace/wood-burning stove

For obvious safety and insurance reasons, the use of fireplaces is strictly forbidden.

Swimming pool

Outside the “summer” period from the end of April to the end of September, the swimming pool can be used but is not heated. The pool temperature is set at 28°. In the event of strong winds, the temperature can drop sharply. It then takes 1 or 2 days for the pool to regain its initial heat.

The pool requires no maintenance on your part. The equipment room is not accessible to tenants. Again, report any problems to the person in charge of maintenance.

CLEAN BASSIN /

The pool is serviced once a week, when a pool cleaner comes to clean the pool and check the equipment. Please ensure that the water in the pool is kept clean, by not leaving any objects in the water, and by taking a shower before entering the water.

For this purpose, we provide an outdoor shower on the pool deck.

Swimming pool roller shutter

The opening and closing of the roller shutter is forbidden due to too many incorrect manipulations.

We remind you that the use of the pool is under your total responsibility.

An alarm will be installed.

Misuse may prevent you from using the pool during your stay.

It is your responsibility to take all necessary precautions for the use of the swimming pool, especially if you are staying with young children whom you must supervise.

You agree to hold us entirely harmless in the event of accidents occurring to your family or guests.

Ball games and the like are permitted, provided they respect the existing facilities (any damaged or destroyed equipment will be billed).

Cleaning

The cleaning lady will come after your departure.

When you leave, you must leave the house clean and tidy:

Dishwasher emptied and clean

Dishes put away in cupboards

Dirty linen sheets and towels, in the laundry room or at the end of the beds

Garbage emptied and disposed of in the outside yellow and grey lidded garbage cans / glass in the container located on the square of Notre Dame Basilica

Refrigerator emptied

Barbecue clean

We ask you not to move beds or furniture.

Electric car

There are no charging points for electric vehicles in this apartment. For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to recharge your electric car by plugging into a socket in the accommodation.

Bruno from 123 Soleil Conciergerie can arrange for groceries to be delivered, restaurants to be booked or an in-home chef to be found for you.

Meal or breakfast delivery is also possible.

Garden furniture

You have 8 deckchairs and 4 chiliennes as well as 3 side tables at your disposal.

There’s also a large outdoor wooden table with 12 garden chairs, a sofa and 2 armchairs, and a wooden coffee table.

As for the outdoor cushions, we don’t recommend sitting on them with wet bathing suits.

To protect the wooden tables, we provide tablecloths, placemats and trivets.

Bruno from Conciergerie 123 Soleil will be happy to offer you a tailor-made cleaning service if you would like us to visit more often.

Ping pong table

We’re putting a brand-new ping pong table at your disposal, along with 4 ping pong rackets and 4 balls.

The table is fragile, so if you need to move it, please give it your full attention.

In the event of heavy rain, please close the table and cover it with a tarpaulin to protect it until you want to use it again.

If the rackets and balls are damaged or lost, please replace them during your stay so that subsequent guests can enjoy the same comfort as you did on your arrival.

Barbecue

The barbecue is a Weber gas barbecue, powered by PROPANE gas cylinders.

It is important to close the gas bottle after your departure. Please also clean the grill after each use. Simply scrape the hot grill.

Regularly clean the grease trap under the grill. Too much grease can damage the grill.

Finally, instructions on how to change the gas bottle (20kg) can be found in the binder with the operating instructions.

A Total gas station selling bottled gas is located 5 minutes from the villa, in the direction of Le Pyla.

Garbage cans

The garbage cans are located at the end of the driveway, on the right opposite the front door of the house.

2 plastic waste garbage cans with yellow lids and 2 household waste garbage cans with grey lids.

Collection takes place once a week, on Monday mornings (between 3.30 and 10.30 a.m.) if you have to put them out in the street in front of the gate. In summer, a second collection is made on Wednesdays at the same times.

Arcachon does not collect glass. A collection container is located behind the Basilique Notre Dame, a 400-meter walk away. Please drop off your containers before you leave.

A few more tips

You can leave groceries if they are not perishable. In this way, groceries can be used by subsequent occupants without them having to replenish everything as soon as they arrive, as was the case for you.

Breakage or loss

In the event of loss or breakage, you will be charged the full cost of repair or replacement. We will inform you of the cost in advance.

Any loss or damage must be reported on departure and sent to us by e-mail to villacaprev@gmail.com within eight days of rental, and must also be reported to the concierge on departure.

This is essential for the return of the deposit. Please also let us know of any imperfections or shortcomings, which we will try to rectify.

DEPARTURE

You must vacate the house by 11 a.m. at the latest on the day of your departure.

If you need to leave earlier, before Bruno from Conciergerie 123 Soleil arrives, please call him to arrange a place where you can leave the keys.
